Hello <<First Name>>,

Much warm appreciation to everyone who was able to adopt a hat during my recent BDay sale. I truly treasure your support. It really helps power the FeltHappiness engine and energy!

And energy is something that we all need, right?

In fact, I just found out that my application to ArtRider's Fall Crafts in Lyndhurst has been accepted. It was on my Events calendar to do the ArtRider show in New Jersey this past December. Sadly, that couldn't happen due to Covid-19. This year, I was feeling bold, added in a second event with the organization. In theory, my acceptance from the 2020 December fair rolls over to the 2021 one.

Why am I mentioning this? Well, I need to get my engine and energy into gear and start making more hats. Only eight have been made, so far.

In the meantime, I'm sharing with you some pretty green hats that work well for Spring, Easter, and St Patrick's Day, which will soon be upon us.

Feeling the Green?

Here are three rather easy-to-wear hats that evoke the springtime and new leaves. As you might imagine, the photos were not taken this year. Pittsburgh trees remain in their wintery state. But, you can feel it in the air - the stirrings of the season.

Click on the photos to see more. Or visit the ever-growing Green Section of hats. It's surprisingly large!
See the Green
If you are on Instagram, I will be doing a LIVE with my friend Shannah of BlckBts at 11:30 AM on Friday. She is also a feltmaker, but one that concentrates on cowls and caftans that have a rather different vibe from my hats. Interestingly, she uses natural dyes and ice dyeing in her work. Our topic is The Avocado!

Again, thank you for all of your kind messages and support.

With appreciation,

Signature of me, Juliane

PS: If you like one-of-a-kind felted scarves, check out the work of sassafrasdesignl, an Etsy seller based in the Netherlands. I have admired her unique and richly textured work since I started feltmaking!
