What Alabama Family Trust Can Do For Your Clients

Alabama Family Trust sets up special needs trusts for children and adults with special needs in addition to senior citizens in nursing home care.  This protects their assets so they can qualify for programs to pay for their life-long needs and long-term care. If you have a client with a special needs family member or senior in a nursing home, enhance your client relationship by referring them to Alabama Family Trust. They will thank you for helping them pay for care without draining their resources! We serve the entire state of Alabama and beyond!

Once your client's assets are in trust, they can be used to pay for things that will improve their quality of life such as medical, dental care, and vision expenses not paid by benefits. They can also be used to pay for a wide variety of things ranging from clothing to furniture to the difference on a private room in a nursing home.

Will a special needs trust cause my loved one to lose government support?

Will a special needs trust put government support at risk? NO! Special needs trusts are specifically set up to supplement – not replace – basic government support for the individual’s needs. AFT administers the trust funds in accordance with Social Security and Medicaid regulations so the beneficiary does not lose any government benefits due to the trust fund.
