#OneHomestead 10am Worship

Nursery is available if desired. Sunday school is also during the service for pre-k through 4th grade.
While Pastor Bethany & Pastor Luke take parental leave in February, Homestead is fortunate to have Pastor Emily Carson with us for Sunday morning leadership & pulpit supply. She is a fantastic preacher and pastor, and we can’t wait for you to hear her again!

Emily Carson is a Lutheran pastor and serves as the Director of Communications for the Southeastern Minnesota Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. She also writes a weekly column in the Rochester Post-Bulletin called "Holy Everything." Emily loves to explore Minnesota parks and trails with her husband, Justin, and their redbone coonhound, Finn.

Come hungry to church this Sunday! Koinonia Circle is proud to host a pancake breakfast benefiting our brothers and sisters in Guatemala for Se Luz Ministries. This ministry was started by our very own Kali Pliego, and though she has stepped down as executive director, Se Luz continues to do ministry in Guatemala and we are proud to support their cause. There will be a freewill donation to eat pancakes, as well as a silent auction
Our Middle School Youth Group meets again on Sunday 2/10 after the service!
Need something to do while the kids are in youth group? Bring a crafty project to work on! We can knit, sew, and crochet together!

***Don't have a kid in youth group, but still want to join in and be crafty with us? No problem! Just bring your crafts and hang out with us after church on 2/10. We'd be delighted to have you!

***Note: 2/10 is also the day of our pancake breakfast! We will let the youth go through the line first so they can eat and head to youth group. The rest of us can eat and/or craft together!
Our next trip to Feed My Starving Children is on Saturday, March 2nd! We will meet at the church at 10am and carpool up. Our packing time is 11:30am-1:30pm. Kids ages 5+ can help, and there's a low mobility job available too! The last group we sent up had twenty people in it - can we send even more this time?
We absolutely love how Hy-Vee supports our local schools. In the spring of the 2017-2018 school year, we collected Hy-Vee receipts and turned them in to Gibbs Elementary. For every $250 in receipts given, Hy-Vee donated $1 to the school. They ended up donating over $3,000 to our local schools! We are collecting receipts at the front desk for the ENTIRE school year!

**Note: this is also good for gas receipts from Hy-Vee gas stations.

Reminder: Text giving is quick and easy! The first time you send in a text offering, you will be sent a link to register your card information. Every time you text give after that, your card information is remembered!
