Please reach out to Pastor Bethany with any questions.

For more than a 100 years, Homestead Church has been a community living, worshiping and serving together. At various points along the way, we have paused to re-evaluate our framework and daily rhythms. Annually we do this in a small way, when we gather for a yearly meeting to celebrate achievements and share dreams for the coming year.

But some years, we have delved into a time of deeper reflection and discernment which can set the course for years to come. This is one of those years. Your Pastors, along with your Development Team, are inviting our entire community to engage in a season of reflection and re-evaluation of the framework of our church.  We hope our entire congregation will participate in this process and following conversations. It is by your participation that our church will continue to flourish and live into its vision for our life together.

Surveys were sent to your email inboxes or your physical mailboxes. You can also find the link to the survey here, and there is a stack of hard copies of the survey on the front desk, next to a drop box where you can place your completed survey. Please complete these by November 1, so that we can review the results of these surveys and discuss it as a community during our State of the Church meeting on November 20. We hope to see you all there.

Our WASH (Worship and Study Hour) Series continues each week! Join us for dinner at 5:30 and the lesson at 6pm!
Our Middle School Youth Group meets again on 10/28 after the second service!
All Saints Sunday is November 4. If you have a loved one that passed in 2018 that you would like remembered in our service, please email the office with the persons birth and death dates as well as a digital photo. Please submit these by October 25.
Our November sermon series kicks off on All Saints Sunday. We tackle the difficult subject of death - from a spiritual standpoint as well as a practical standpoint.
We absolutely love how Hy-Vee supports our local schools. In the spring of the 2017-2018 school year, we collected Hy-Vee receipts and turned them in to Gibbs Elementary. For every $250 in receipts given, Hy-Vee donated $1 to the school. They ended up donating over $3,000 to our local schools! We are collecting receipts at the front desk for the ENTIRE school year!

Reminder: Text giving is quick and easy! The first time you send in a text offering, you will be sent a link to register your card information. Every time you text give after that, your card information is remembered!
