COLOUR YOUR DAY
Number 10 will again be supporting this awesome NZ initiative to brighten up our day and those around us on Thursday March 31st, by wearing colour and supporting E Tū Tāngata.
In New Zealand we often have a default setting of a culture of criticism (Tall Poppy Syndrome). E Tū Tāngata is an initiative aimed at turning that around, by empowering people to build a culture where every person is valued and encouraged to be their best selves.
You can find out more about Colour Your Day
here.
THANK YOU!
Number 10 would like to thank Kari Graber, organiser of the Invercargill Gingerbread House Contest, all the people who entered and the generous people who donated to Number 10 at the display.  We gratefully received $532.60.
Anyone who has casually leaned on this piece of wall outside Number 10 in the last wee while would have felt that frission of excitement as the bricks wobbled ominously.  HUGE thanks to our friend Keith, the Lead Pastor at Invercargill Central Baptist Church (our across-the-road neighbours) who generously donated his time and resources to repair it for us!
