The great Champagne house, Salon, only produces one wine from a single village and vintage. With a certain glamour about it, the quality is recognized by many, however its extremely high price makes it a rare treat to experience. After stunning the wine world with their 2008 vintage release in magnum only at $5,000 each (!!), they've stated that there will be no Salon release on the 2012 vintage, hence we offer you this Pro Tip from Peter Liem, in The Champagne Guide:
"Delamotte and Salon function as sister houses, sharing offices and facilities in Le Mesnil. Both houses are under the direction of Didier Depond, although the wines are made by Michel Fauconnet, chef de cave of Laurent-Perrier. Delamotte owns six hectares of grapes in Le Mesnil, Oger and Cramant, and in the years when Salon is not produced, those grapes from Salon’s contracts will often go into the Delamotte Brut or non-vintage Blanc de Blancs.
These are quiet, discreet wines, focusing more on subtlety and finesse than on power, and should be paired with cuisines that complement these sensibilities. Delamotte’s wines are very slow to unwind, and tend to show best with a great deal of aging after disgorgement—the more the better. The vintage-dated blanc de blancs are made entirely from grand cru fruit, sourced primarily from vineyards in Le Mesnil and Oger, along with some Avize and Cramant...usually aged for about seven years on its lees; will benefit considerably from further aging after disgorgement."

94+ points Wine Advocate: "A worthy successor to the super 2008, Delamotte's 2012 Blanc de Blancs is performing very well—despite the fact that it was disgorged as recently as June 2019. Opening in the glass with aromas of citrus oil, dried white flowers, smoke and wheat toast, it's medium to full-bodied, deep and concentrated, with a bright girdle of acidity, well-integrated dosage and a fine mousse, the muscularity of the vintage rendered with uncommon finesse. While this is quite expressive for such a recently disgorged vintage Delamotte, the rewards of even only a few years' patience will be considerable."
94 points Vinous: "Delamotte’s 2012 Brut Vintage is rich, creamy and super-expressive. This is only the second vintage (the first was 2008) in which fruit from Oiry rounds out the classic core of Le Mesnil, Oger and Cramant that forms the backbone of the Vintage. Dried pear, white flowers, chamomile and mint are some of the notes that grace this exquisite understated Blanc de Blancs. The 2012 offers terrific depth and textural resonance in a creamy, expressive style that captures the radiant personality of the year and the understated, quiet voice that is such a Delamotte signature."
