Latest trends & statistics: October 2016

In Q3, Brazil remained the top country for projects financed by multilateral development banks, with active projects in the IT, construction, education/training, and transportation sectors, among others. Argentina experienced a jump in project volume, making it to our Top 5 Project Countries list between July and September of 2016, with construction being the most active sector. We have broken down the top countries and sectors from our database below.

The first report of the UN High-Level Panel on Women's Economic Empowerment recommends public sector procurement to promote inclusive growth and women's economic empowerment.
