Bring your tent, pull the RV or stay in a room at Bayshore for Central Bay Family Camp 2 this year! August 16 – 18th, at beautiful Bayshore Camp in Sebewaing, is the place you and your family will want to be. Join us for a weenie roast Friday for supper, a potluck supper on Saturday, bonfire with S’mores,and more!

Dinner Church in Cass City

Cass City UMC is well known for the past 20 years in preparing our Wednesday Dorcas Meal.  However, after reading Dinner Church by Verlon Fosner at last fall’s District Conference we wanted to explore how to incorporate Dinner Church into our HOLY C.O.W. (Church on Wednesdays).

As I sit in my office at church, writing this article for the Central Bay District Newsletter, I’m excited that my phone is reminding me that Youth 2019 is only days away!  Probably by the time you read this update, our departure date will be even closer! 
 
District Conference 2019

Verlon Fosner, author of Welcome to Dinner, Church will be presenting training sessions in the morning and afternoon. Don’t forget we begin promptly at 9:00 am!

The Prop Center is Moving!

Drumroll….the Prop and Resource Center has a new location – we are headed to Clare UMC! We have a big, beautiful room in their office building upstairs where the props can be stored and I can work on new ones/repairing used ones.

They are the one consistent in the wonderfully crazy church we are all a part of.
