For those who need to return the VBS props, I will be in Clare on August 19, 20th and 28th all day and into the evening hours for those who cannot come during the day. You will need to bring at least 2 people to unload, as the prop center is located upstairs (for large and awkward items). Please email me which date/time works best for you so I know who to expect and when so the doors are unlocked - firstname.lastname@example.org. Clare UMC, 105 E. 7th St., Clare.
Props can also be used for Sunday school kick-off, theme parties and even to help set the mood for a Christmas pageant – decorations aren’t just for VBS. Props are free to use and just need to be returned in a timely manner and in the condition they were checked out.

Our United Methodist heritage reflects a history of Christian faith and love put into action. One elderly Mayville United Methodist woman and her friend did just that. They collected clothes and food to be given away or sold for $.25 to those who needed help. From that humble beginning and several buildings later and the with the help from Rev. William Maynard of the Mayville UMC, the Mayville Area Share Shop was born and continues to serve the “least of these”.
September 7th and 14th from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. This Lay Servant Ministry course uses Charles Bryant’s book as a practical look at how the gifts of the Holy Spirit can renew the lives of individuals and revitalize the church’s ministry with a solid biblical foundation for 32 spiritual gifts found in scripture.

The position of the administrative assistant is a vital part of the overall ministry of a church and the congregation. They are the gatekeeper, bridge-builder, keeper of the “information”, soother of wounded feelings, and deliverer of unwanted news. They are the person who has Their finger on the pulse of your congregation and your community. They are the person people will come to for answers. They are the one consistent in the wonderfully crazy church we are all a part of.
