Important news for future Pollock Scholars

Attention Members and fans for the FIGT Annual Conference! In response to feedback and positive results from changes in 2016, the David C. Pollock Scholarship timeline will be even earlier this year.

Calls for applicants will begin in August and the 2017 Conference Pollock Scholars will be announced in early October.

We believe that the earlier process will:
  • Increase the field by helping scholars firm up March plans earlier
  • Allow possible first-time presenters to apply for a scholarship
  • Firm up and announce conference details earlier, increasing the excitement for FIGT 2017 Conference

What 2016 Pollock Scholars had to say:
  • “Seeing people [with whom] I have been networking …and being able to meet some AMAZING world changers was incredibly inspiring.”
  • “I have never met a group of professionals who are more willing to welcome.”
  • “I am thrilled to have been a part of this event. I came home excited about the entire FIGT community and with so many ideas about how I fit into it.”
  • “That was the big takeaway for me, to start to find my place in the TCK cosmos, as a 30-year-old, as a British-American person, and as an artist.”
