From The Commodore

Hi Team MYC

What great news with our new MYC Champion Rhett Gowans winning the 2017 Laser Radial Australian Championships . Rhett is a real inspiration for all MYC  members. Rhett has loved sailing since Opti's and continues to love the sport and and has now achieved at the highest level. Over the Christmas New year we had many more Team MYC sailing in National  Regattas and this E-Tattler  summarises the great results achieved.

Back at the club  Michelle Pickford, Glenn Peverell and Jess Harper have been really busy with Tackers Holiday Programs.  Our next generation of 5 years - 12 years of age sailors are now sailing and by the pictures and feedback received it has been a great success. Michelle Pickford is "ACE" as she also has now coordinated the very first Tackers with  VicSwim program The children went home with two certificates, Swimming and Sailing.

As usual there will be great sailing at the club every Thursday, Saturday and Sundays. and Sailability on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.

I look forward to seeing you at the club.
Sheryl Schumacher
