       SAILING NEWS @ MYC

eTelltale #52
Hi All,
Thanks to the author from last Sunday. A great day had by all. With no wind, it was a consensus decision to go and have some fun.

Last week was the Schools State Titles with many MYC sailors competing. A big Congrats to Padua who took out Division 2. With the light winds the final series was only between the top 3 which left Peninsula fighting for 4th. This year was Sophie Jackson swan song and the Toorak team moved up to Division 1. They were 7th overall, 1st was the Scotch boys. The Girls took out first GSV (Girls Schools Vic) place.

This weekend is Club Champs again.  Then we move into the last regatta of the season. The first week of school holidays has a 3 day coaching clinic, then a day off before the Vic Youth regatta over the middle weekend. We have hosted the last 2 Club Marine Youths, this year it is Brighton’s turn. Another good week to have some intensive coaching and racing.
