PHOTO OF THE WEEK
Below: 2 old photos sent to us from Nicolee Woods.....
The 1st one is of her brother Mark Woods sailing off Mothers Beach circa lat 60's showing the old jetty & ice cream shop!
The 2nd on is Alf Neate's Seaquesta circa early 1980's - does anyone know who these people are, some would still be members?

From The Commodore

Hi Everyone,
We had another beautiful sail at Mornington last Thursday night, thank you to all the skippers that have been sending your visitor's around to the office to purchase a Day Pass, the system is working well.

The Business lunch on Friday the 17th of March is nearly full, so don't forget to click here or contact the office to book asap - the cut off date is this Friday as numbers need to be confirmed for catering purposes.

See you at the club soon, Sheryl Schumacher

The Rocks Thursday Twilight Menu:

Vegetable pasta bake with salad $20

From The Vice Commodore
Hi Members,
A few points raised at our monthly yard meeting on Monday night need to be mentioned to all yard and ramp uses.
Before doing so I would like to thank the Thursday Group, Al Clark and Richie from Mornington Marine for having the yard in the best condition it has been in for a long time.

1/ OTB'S are requested to rig in the OTB area or if they need to raise sails closer to the ramp for safety and seamanship then please do so promptly so as to avoid delays to other users.

2/ Ramp users are reminded that the ramp is for all to use: Trailables, OTB and Tenders. You may have to wait for others to use the ramp and should allow enough for such time as required.

3/ Traliable's should not tie up within the ramp access for more than a few minutes.

4/ Optimist's should generally be housed in the Opti Shed and not the yard. If they are heading away to a regatta they may for a day (not weeks) be left with permission of the office or yard manager in the yard.

5/ Al Clark is trying to do a winter yard layout and a number of people have not paid yet.  Could you please organise this week as payment is now overdue and stopping Al (a volunteer) getting this sorted.

Please have respect for and help other yard and ramp users, both members and guests. It’s a great problem to have more sailing at MYC and we hope growth continues with maximum enjoyment for and patience from all.

Many thanks,
Chris Jackson
For and on behalf of the Yard & General Committees
