Off to the NSW Youth Champs with Steph, Matilda and Lily
Hi All,

High all,
Will it feels like the season is starting  now. We had four Optis and two 420s  compete in the New South Wales Youth Regatta over the long weekend.  Our kids  did well matching it with some of the best in the country in winds that varied from all to nothing. They did well and learned lots. At least we got to watch the grand final and get home Monday night. Please see the link to the results pages.
This Sunday (9th) Rob Ware  is coming down to MYC to run a rules session over lunch time (from midday) for all Youth and junior sailors.
This session will focus on Rule 42 and the rules that are being changed or introduced in 2017.
The opti sailors who are going to Nationals will also have an on water
session with Rob in the afternoon, so please bring your sailing gear and
equipment opti sailors. Mel
The fundraising committee for the Pacers has asked that each youth family sell a booklet of raffle tickets. Bigger Donations can still be made online through the Australian Sports Foundation.

Note October 15-16 is Sail Sandi for bigger kids. Early entry closes soon. We are looking for parent helpers to run a warm up fun race for the others at MYC that Sunday
October 23rd is Opening Day. Races in morning, sail past for everyone after lunch.
I’m writing this Tuesday night and it feels like mid winter, but summer is coming fast. Lots of fun to be had soon
