Join us in PRAYER!
We are here in Carlsbad, California at PROJECT WALK. We have been here for 1 week. Project Walk is a paralysis recovery program and they are phenomenal. I encourage you to check out there website and read through what makes there rehab facility so amazing. www.Projectwalk.com
Alot of you have donated towards this particular cause and I cannot express my gratitude to be given the opportunity to be here. I love you!
We want to invite you to join us in prayer during the times I am in Therapy.
Specific things to be praying for:
~Quad muscles are slightly activating but we need them to start activating MORE.
~Hip flexors to lengthen out, since I have been in the wheelchair for almost a year it has caused my hip flexors to shorten which doesn't allow me to stand straight, I stand haunched over. In just a week we have seen huge progress in this area.
~ Glutes (butt muscles) to strengthen
~ Housing while we are here in San Diego area, we packed for 3 months in faith but can only afford to stay in a hotel using our reward points until March 10th. We have been reaching out trying to find a place to stay for free or discounted price. We were blessed with a RV that we were going to drive from Mississippi to California and park it in the church parking lot and live in for 3 months but when John flew down to pick it up, it didn't even run and was in awful shape. This was a week before we were scheduled to be at project walk, so we are still believing for a affordable place to stay. We have reached out to Pastor's in the area and friends are trying to find time shares that might be available for donation, but at this point nothing has opened up. Please be in prayer with us for direction on what to do next. Do we stay here longer or do we take what we learn over these next 3 weeks and apply them at home and return at a later time.
Please message us and include us in any prayer requests you are bringing before the Lord. We want to stand with you and believe God for breakthrough in that area. Email: Kitefamilymissions@gmail.com
