Dear Friend in Christ,

Behold the Lamb of God Online Worship Event

As we celebrate our second Easter in lockdown I'd like to invite you to join us for a special online worship event on Thursday April 1 at 7.30pm

The event will follow the format of a traditional Maundy Thursday service with Bible readings from some of our international partners, prayers for the persecuted led by supporters and volunteers, worship songs performed by our friends at Glenabbey church in Northern Ireland and communion led by Rev Imtiaz Ashraf.

The atmosphere will be quiet and reflective as we remember our Lord Jesus in the upper room with his disciples, washing their feet and sharing the Passover meal, before moving out to the Garden of Gethsemane.

Today, as they identify with Christ, many of our persecuted brothers and sisters know what it is like to face the threat of impending arrest and abandonment by friends. As we remember what the Lord Jesus has done for us we also acknowledge our unity with them.

The event will be streamed on YouTube through a private link on Thursday April 1 at 7.30pm. Free tickets are available now through EventBrite and joining instructions will be emailed after you register.

I hope you will be able to join us for this special evening of worship and prayer.
