Principal's Letter

Good Evening Royals,

Thanksgiving is one of my favorite times of year, and I hope that next week is full of rest and joy and thanks. Our School office will be open on Monday through Wednesday from 10-2, and closed on Thursday and Friday for a long Thanksgiving Weekend.

On Tuesday, November 30, we will be hosting our High School Information night, and we hope that our 8th graders will be able to join us. It will be from 6:00 to 7:00 in the evening, and local high schools from the area will be here in a Job Fair style environment.

A reminder about safety and protocol in the parking lot during drop off and pick up. Parents, please remain in your vehicles at all times while in the loop. If you need to park, and walk up to the school, that is always welcome. If there is a concern about an incident, please bring it to my attention so that we can address the situation appropriately. Thank you for being considerate to other drivers, keeping intersections open at the basketball court and at the crossover at the Blue Gate, and for maintaining a safe speed. In the past two days, I have seen two young scholars step out into traffic even though they were standing right next to their parents. Caution in the traffic loop is crucial, thank you.

Have a great Thanksgiving everyone, and we'll see you back on campus on Monday November 29. Enjoy your time off, encourage one another, and build each other up.

Mr. Carey
