Meet our new pastor in residency: Fresh from his ordination at the end of July, Pastor Hayden Kvamme arrives for two years of ministry as a pastor in residency at St. Paul. This innovative program has enriched our congregational life and helped to form early-career pastors for more than a decade. A graduate of Wartburg Seminary in Dubuque, he was born in Colorado and moved to Iowa at age 9. We will hear his self-introduction as a pastor and theologian and have the opportunity to get better acquainted with him in an open discussion period. In the Chapel.

For God so loved the world, and other 3:16s: John 3:16 is one of the most familiar verses in the Christian Bible. Interestingly, 49 of the 66 books in the Protestant Bible have at least 16 verses in chapter 3, giving us a 3:16 in 49 places. Each week, explore the contexts, meaning, and significance of these other 3:16 verses for our life, our faith, and our world. Daniel 3:16. Pastor Peter W. Marty. In Room 208.
