2018 Award Nominations due October 31, 2018
 
Each year we recognize members of our chapter who achieved advanced levels of APMP certification (Practitioner or Professional level), ancillary professional certifications (PMP, Contract Management, etc.) or advanced degrees.

Additional information about the awards and nomination forms for our named awards can be found on our website at: http://www.apmpflorida.org/about/awards.cfm. For additional information or to nominate someone (including yourself!), contact our Promotions Chair, Ruth Turman, atpromotions@apmpflorida.org.
 
Please submit nominations for this year’s Honors class by October 31, 2018. Honorees will be announced at our December 2018 meeting.

Statement: Completing the APMP PPAQ Self-Assessment was a huge personal goal of mine for 2018. I’m very proud to now officially hold the Practitioner certification and will lend my input and process best-practices to my teammates as they navigate along their APMP journeys.

Charline Divine Certification Scholarship
  • One scholarship will be awarded to one APMP member in good standing in every chapter in a calendar year, starting in 2019.
  • The Scholarships will be reviewed and judged by a panel of five APMP Certification scholarship judges. They will include APMP Fellows, Charlie Divine and the Executive Director. Judges will be asked to recuse themselves if they are considering a candidate in their chapter.
  • APMP will launch the scholarship announcement in October of the previous year and selection will be completed by February of the following year. Winners will be announced prior to Bid & Proposal Con in the year during the scholarship.
  • The scholarship will cover the exam fee only or the Certification (Foundation, Practitioner or Professional) of their choice. Any additional travel, training fees, training materials or other expenses will be the responsibility of the scholarship recipient.
  • All member recipients must commit to maintaining their APMP membership for a period of at least one year after their scholarship is awarded.

  • Identify trends in the profession and know how to navigate their careers to anticipate these shifts in the industry;

  • Here are some GREAT tips you can use on how to edit PDFs in Word.
  • The Training Magazine Network has access to lots of free webinars - including our chapter friend, Mike Parkinson.
  • Still working on that practitioner certification? The NEW exam is coming soon which will replace the legacy assessment method. The Practitioner OTE will be a multiple-choice exam based on a scenario provided. Members will use their industry knowledge and professional experience to match the correct answer to the scenario situation. 
We're also preparing for our 2018 video production which will be released on all social outlets the first quarter of 2019. Please submit pictures or video to us to be added to the video. We want to share all you've done in 2018!
