We are sifting through the final details of the information just received from the Bishops' Committee for Evangelization and Catechesis. The pilot series "Prayer: The Faith Prayed" consists of eight facilitated sessions based on Part IV of the Catechism of the Catholic Church and Chapters 35-36 of the United States Catholic Catechism for Adults. This is the last chance opportunity for parishes who are still interested in participating to submit their name. Implementation information will be sent to participating parishes in a few days. For those parishes already committed and those who intend to join, you will need to identify a group facilitator and submit that person's name and contact information. To sign-up, please submit your parish and facilitator information to djohnsonjr@orlandodiocese.org or call 407-246-4913.

Every year National Marriage Week leads up to the celebration of World Marriage Sunday on the 2nd Sunday of February. It is an excellent opportunity to honor the gift and blessing of God’s gift of marriage.
You can also celebrate marriage by attending the annual Diocesan Mass for Marriage. It will be held this Saturday, 10:00am in the Cathedral of St. James with Bishop Noonan presiding. All married couples and their families are welcome! Please plan on attending whether you have registered or not. Click here to Register.

BEGINNING NEW CHAPTER Tomorrow is the beginning of a new chapter and I am very excited about it. Tomorrow I officially will be part of the Laity, Family and Life Secretariat serving in the role of Whole Community Faith Formation Director, and I am very excited for this opportunity to serve our Church in a new way. I look forward to meeting you and learn how we can collaborate together. Although I am sure it will be a learning process, I would love to count on your prayers and support.
Many blessings!
Bible Verse of the Week
"Rend your hearts, not your garments, and return to the LORD, your God. For gracious and merciful is he, slow to anger, rich in kindness, and relenting in punishment. "
