DEMO FEEDBACK

Over the past month, we’ve had around 30 people put on the HTC Vive headset and try our demo module focused on aggravated customers in the retail sector.  Testers have come from all walks of life: industry, gaming, academia and familia.


First, the positives...

 
 
01 Applicability
All participants felt the technology would effectively apply to industry training
 
02 Medium
The VR medium made testers feel as if they were experiencing the training, rather than observing it
 
03 Immersive
The various immersive training methods presented all had a unique and effective purpose
 
04 Assessment
The assessment component created the desired emotional response that it was designed to induce
 
05 Graphics
The graphical quality of the environment, characters and objects was sufficient for engaging users in a training environment
 
 
And, the ‘we could do betters’…
 
 
01 Buttons
One of the controller buttons was difficult to locate and use
(Note: This has subsequently been changed)
 
02 Instructions
Simplicity of instructions is critical
(Note: Suggestions to increase ease of use have been incorporated)
 
03 Lipsync
Lip sync and facial expression mustn’t be a noticeable distraction
(Note: The model that received complaints has been replaced)
 
 
 
NEXT STEPS  FOR UNLEASHED VR
 

We will continue to demonstrate our initial module for further feedback.  However, this will be more informal to ensure our ears stay close to the proverbial ground.

User testing results indicate we have a demonstrable training module to show prospective clients.  Going forward we will continue to showcase the technology, our methodology and skillset and how it can organisations solve their critical soft skills issues.
