THE LATEST ON CIJ RESEARCH
Child Witness Service review
CIJ has completed its review of the Child Witness Service, as part of its Victim Servies Review project, finding it to be a strong and valuable service supporting some of the most vulnerable witnesses in the community. The CIJ has made recommendations to the Department of Justice and Regulation for ways in which this service can be further strengthened and expanded into the future.
Risk & Needs Assessment
CIJ has also completed work for the Magistrates' Court of Victoria regarding additional ways in which the court can work with perpetrators of family violence who have co-occurring complex needs.
