Children at Stapleford Abbotts Primary Academy enjoyed a visit to Harry Potter World at the Warner Brother Studios.
After watching a short film featuring the Harry Potter actors talking about their roles, the doors to the Great Hall appeared before the children who started their magical journey before taking part in a costume and design lesson.
Year 6 pupil Roxy Robins said: "We found out the most amazing facts, including a badge bought for £2 as an accessory is now worth over £1,000!
"We also created our own costume design for a character using material from characters’ costumes!"
After lunch the children toured the Gryffindor common room.
Year 6 pupil Ray Watkins said: "We couldn’t believe that Daniel Radcliffe once stood right where we were!
"Before long we were up, up and away having a fly on a broomstick. It was so much fun, I felt like a real wizard!"
The children also visited the forbidden forest, the Hogwarts Express and the Hogwarts Castle.
