Happy weekend #2, everyone

This was an exciting week: the first blocks started showing up in my mailbox! So far I've got three, and each one has made me feel like a kid opening presents on their birthday... so thank you! This week I'd like to pass along a couple resources people have shared with me this week that I thought might motivate and inform our work.

Ayotzinapasomostodos.com gives a short biography of each student. One of the unexpected joys for me this week is seeing how people are taking the time to find out more about their student and often including personal touches like nicknames and portraits. I can only imagine what such details might mean for their parents.
The Missing 43: Mexico's Disappeared Students (Full Length)
If you're interested in the best (and in a couple moments, graphic) reporting that I've seen on Ayotzinapa, check out Vice's short 40-minute documentary. It was filmed immediately after the night of the 26th and covers the following two months afterwards. Unfortunately, not much new has come to light since this documentary was filmed. Watch this and you're basically up-to-date.
If you have anything you'd like to share with the group, please send me a link and I'll pass the word along to everybody. This project is only becoming stronger and more meaningful as the days go by thanks to the involvement and input of so many people. It's incredible. You're incredible!

Hasta encontrarlos,
Zak
