Catalfamo RenewCall for Transparency on "SHAM"poo Bill

Woerner Suffering From "Albanyitis", Fails Self-Imposed Ethics Standard

Wilton, NY--September 9, 2020...Assembly candidate and economic development expert, Dave Catalfamo, today renewed his call for Carrie Woerner to come clean on communications surrounding her sham "Shampoo bill."

Woerner has so far refused to release the full amount of records pertaining to the shampoo bill she introduced at the behest of a special interest group led by her staffer's father. In 2015, when Woerner was first elected to office, she had this to say to the Post Star about ethics:

"One of the things I learned from Ross Perot (during her time at Perot Systems Corp.) was that you play at the center of the ethical playing field and if you can see the sidelines, you are way too close. That’s the standard I hold myself to and that’s the standard I hold my staff to and that’s the example we intend to set in the Assembly."

"It's clear from what we already know about her actions surrounding this sham special interest legislation that not only can she see the sidelines, but she's completely out of bounds," said Mr. Catalfamo. "She might have gone to Albany as one of us, but she's now fully entrenched as one of them, suffering from an acute case of 'Albanyitis.' The only way we are going to get New York State through these challenging times is with leaders who will put people over special interests, and that's why we need change this November."
