NEW YORK STATE TROOPERS PBA ENDORSES DAVE CATALFAMO IN 113th ASSEMBLY DISTRICT
August 25, 2020 - Wilton, NY-- The New York State Troopers PBA today endorsed former senior state official and economic development expert Dave Catalfamo for Assembly, the campaign today announced. This latest law endorsement enforcement comes on the heels of endorsements from both Saratoga County Sheriff Michael Zurlo and Washington County Sheriff Jeffrey.
"The Troopers PBA is proud to support Dave Catalfamo for the New York State Assembly," said John Clark, Vice President of the NYS Troopers PBA. "We expect him to be a strong supporter for law enforcement and continue to protect our members against the anti-law enforcement movement in Albany.
This latest major law enforcement endorsement will have a significant impact in the race where public safety, Democrats’ dangerous new bail law and support for police are top issues facing voters this November. Catalfamo, who served as a senior official in Governor Pataki’s administration, has pledged to reverse the bail law and defend, not defund police departments.
“It’s a tremendous honor to receive the support of The New York State Troopers PBA in my campaign,” said Mr. Catalfamo. "Over the years, I am proud to have worked closely with so many members of the State Police. I have seen their sacrifice and experienced their professionalism first hand."
“Our police are under assault because of the radical policies of my opponent and her liberal New York City pals controlling the agenda. We must stand up to the forces that are making our communities more dangerous, and it starts by electing representatives who will restore safety and sanity to state government. I stand firmly with the brave men and women in law enforcement.”
Concluded Catalfamo, "It is unfortunate that the Carrie Woerner this district sent to Albany six years ago would have never turned her back on our police, but now she is captive of the radical left."
