Caylix Sport going international
Recently Stellenbosch’s Caylix Sport has officially gone international with its first step taken in Redmond, Washington USA, where Caylix Sport bought a share in the Redmond Tennis Club.
Caylix Sport has also been appointed as the official management company of RTC with Charl Faurie representing Caylix Sport as General Manager of the club.
“The vision of Caylix Sport is to be a service provider of choice and through the opportunities we create and services we deliver, we want to continue to expand our offering and support our clients to fulfil their needs and reach their goals,
” said Le Roux Conradie from Caylix Sport.
“Caylix Sport is extremely privileged that we have expanded to the USA for our first international footprint. We bought shares in the Redmond Tennis Club and signed a five-year management contract. RTC is a very diverse tennis centre with indoor tennis courts, gymnasium, health spa and restaurant and the general management of the entire facility is the responsibility of Caylix Sport. We are very excited about the possibilities of this new venture and trust that it will not only grow our brand, but also enhance our support towards and passion for the development and growth of tennis in South Africa.”
Big strides for tennis
The Stellenbosch company has taken big strides regarding tennis the past few years. Caylix Sport most notably has brought the Curro Junior ITF
and Digicall Future ITF
Tournaments to Stellenbosch, which will again take place this year September and November respectively.
A further development is the Curro National Tennis Program to be established at Curro Schools across the country, scheduled to commence at selected schools between July 2016 and January 2017, growing annually thereafter.
