Kah Walla is free! This past Friday, Kah was imprisoned along with several members of the Cameroon People's Party for their advocacy on behalf of increased water and electricity, and against secret changes being made to the country's constitution. In a statement she made shortly after her release, Kah says, "I am well and feeling strengthened by the Vital Voices Network. My colleagues and I feel so much safer with all the people around the world who rose up to demand our release." Click here for more on Kah's story and the recent events in Cameroon
