Visiting the LowCountry in January?

Jerry and I have a New Years Day tradition of taking a walk at the Beach in Hunting Island State Park.  Unfortunately it is closed until next summer due to damage caused by Hurricane Matthew.    We learned from friends about the Spanish Moss Trail.

This trail follows a path along the former Port Royal Railroad.  It is paved for walking, biking, skating, jogging, and other physical activities.  The trail is currently 10 miles extending from Port Royal to Burton with future plans to extend it to Yemassee.  If you are visiting the Low Country; you can walk through neighborhoods and see  trees covered in Spanish Moss.  There are segments of the trail with vast water and marsh views and abundant coastal wildlife.

We walked along the segment of the trail near Depot Road starting at the historic warehouse building.  It was misty out and we found this critter hiding out from the rain in the Warehouse wall.

As we walked, we reminisced about the Past and shared our plans and dreams for the future.

Our Experience
Irene Krenn, a family friend from Bad-homurg, Germany visited us over the holidays.  She likes to experiment with different creative mediums and introduced me to Christollen, Pyrography and Twenty20.      Check out her Glass Eyes Marble Painting Tutorial above and look for her step by step instructions for making Whimsical Valentines Book Marks in my blog.

Yes, I do take the photos of our products and I'm always looking for ways to improve the product photo ads.   This year I want to test adding lifestyle photos to our product ads for Pinterest and other social marketing platforms.

I learned that amateur and professional photographers sell their photos on Twenty20, a mobile photography marketplace and community for photographers.      I signed up for Twenty20 and created my  Profile @jenkincl54  I was  exploring collections and discovered  "DIY crafts".  I also started my own collection of  "Craft Photos" for potential future purchases when I am working on product ads.

Do you take photos of family, friends, pets, or creative projects?  Check out Twenty20 to post and sell photos and enter your photos in competitions.
