Our very own recent alumnus Adam Jermyn (next to nominator Sterl Phinney, Executive Officer in Astronomy, far right) wins the coveted APS LeRoy Apker Award for outstanding achievements in physics by an undergraduate student. Also pictured are faculty Jason Alicea (nominator, far left) and Physics Executive Officer Gil Refael.   
Nets Katz and collaborator Larry Guth accepted the 2015 Clay Research Award  in Oxford on September 30th. Their work is an important contribution to the understanding of the interplay between combinatorics and geometry.
