Wed, Feb 10, 8 pm: Gregg Hallinan will focus on his group’s efforts to detect extrasolar space weather crucial in defining the habitability of exoplanets in his Earnest C. Watson Lecture: “Chasing Extrasolar Space Weather” 
Jamie Bock, professor of physics and Jet Propulsion Laboratory senior research scientist, has received the Joseph Weber Award for Astronomical Instrumentation from the American Astronomical Society (AAS)


The Student-Faculty Programs Office is seeking nominations for the Green Prize and the Housner Prize, which recognize an outstanding original piece of research by Caltech undergraduates as outlined here
