#StaySafeStayHome Edition - making the best use of tech

Hi,

As we round off the second week of social distancing, it's been great to see how the internet has helped families to stay connected, spread messages of support and help children and young people at a challenging time.
To spotlight other ways that the digital world can help, in the second instalment of our #StaySafeStayHome edition, we've provided advice on a range of topics, including building children's critical thinking, virtual playdates and the impact of the new DfE guidelines for schools.

We've also created a new Houseparty privacy settings how-to guide to support those using the app.
We'd encourage you to share this with other parents and carers. If you have any feedback get in touch on our Facebook page @InternetMatters.
