Forward Forward
A note from our PTO Co-Presidents,
Stacy Anderson & Erin Plasch
Dear Meadowbrook Families and Caregivers:

The PTO would like to welcome you to a new year at our school. For those of you who are unfamiliar with us, we are a volunteer organization made up of parents, teachers, administrators, and support staff who are all dedicated to the successful education of our children. We are here to help students and staff by providing support for educational and recreational needs; to promote open communication between administration, teachers, and parents/guardians, and to encourage Meadowbrook school spirit and pride.

The PTO uses its resources, both in volunteers and financial, to support the efforts of the staff and to provide learning and enrichment opportunities for our children. Everything we do is based on volunteers and we are looking to YOU to help make a difference in the lives of our children. Every parent/guardian is already a member of the PTO and we encourage you to get involved! Volunteer your time. Come to meetings. Read the minutes. Give us your thoughts. Jump in and help. Ask questions. Donate what you can. Everyone is busy, but finding a little time to help contribute to your child’s educational experience will be rewarding for you and for them. It’s a wonderful investment that will produce lasting benefits.

With this in mind, we would like to solicit feedback from you regarding how you would like to see Meadowbrook PTO evolve in our ever changing landscape. Use the link below to provide your thoughts on the PTO and what we can do to help serve our community. If you are interested in helping this year with any aspect of PTO, we are actively looking for volunteers for many positions. Email us directly at to get more information.

Thank you!

Stacy Anderson (parent of a 4th and 6th grader)
Erin Plasch (parent of a 4th and 7th grader)

Art Adventure 2021-2022

Become a parent volunteer for Art Adventure this school year! Join students in the classroom where you will present art from the Minneapolis Institute of Art’s collection and lead students in a simple art project. Art Adventure is a MIA program presented to grades K-4 with financial support from the Meadowbrook PTO. The program introduces students to works of art from a wide variety of cultures.

Training is provided by the Minneapolis Institute of Art (MIA), as well as support from other parent volunteers with past experience. In light of the ever-changing pandemic, the exact dates and program format are yet to be determined. Art Adventure sessions may be led in-person in the classroom or virtually via Google Meet.
Email us at if you're interested in becoming a parent volunteer.
Thank you for your continued support of Art Adventure!
Your 2021-2022 Art Adventure Coordinator,
Pam Armour
