Ninja vs. Street Seminars

Ninja vs Street Seminar 
Every Tuesday in March at 8:00 PM

Learn skills that made the ninja legendary - our weapons class series will be taught with realistic application for today versus knife attacks, gun attacks, and both.
You will learn how to adapt the principles of ancient weapons to common attacks in today’s world. Ninja utilized a large variety of tools and weaponry, some of which were commonly known, but others were more specialized. Each of the four Series Workshops will focus on a particular weapon: Kama, Bokken, Sai, and Tonfa - versus modern weaponry.

Self-Defense for Runners

Be Your First Responder - Self-defense Seminar for Runners.
In these series of seminars we will address important runner safety tips as well as fundamental combatives and instinct based self defensive techniques to empower runners of all ages and sizes.
Seminar 1 - March 16th, 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM
During this seminar you will practice combatives like eye gouge, upper and lower body strikes and how to defend yourself against wrist grabs and attacks from behind.
Seminar 2 - April 6th, 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM
During this seminar you will practice upper and lower body strikes from the ground and self defense techniques against attacks on the ground.

Ranking with Randy Siordia under MARS
Levels: Beginner 1-4 only
Ranking in Kali and/or JKD. Register for one or both.
Randy is recognized as an expert in close range combatives with and without weapons and specializes in joint locks and balance disruption. Certified MARS Instructor in Jeet Kune Do and Filipino Martial Arts with over 25 years of martial arts experience.
Equipment Requirement:
One (1) pair Kali Sticks
One (1) pair of Training Knives
One (1) Titan Gym, Krav Maga, Revgear or Hayabusa t-shirts (no substitutions allowed). 
Water or other hydrating liquids. Water will be available for purchase at the front desk.
One (1) towel – towels will be available for rent, to be returned in designated bin upon test completion.



Youth Ranking (ages 3-12)

March 9, 2019 at 10:00 AM


Equipment Requirement:
One (1) pair 8 oz. or 10 oz. Youth Boxing Gloves (ALL BELTS)  
One (1) pair youth Shin Guards (YELLOW/BLACK BELT and ABOVE)  
Child must be wearing his/her gi and assigned belt.  
Child must bring a bottle of water or other hydrating liquid.  

The belt exam is a pass / fail event.  If a student fails the test (below 80%) they are welcome to retake the test at the following belt exam in 2-3 months. Students can not take the test twice at the same belt exam and students can not earn a belt during regular class time. All belts must be earned at the belt exam. Most belt tests will last around 75 minutes including the ceremony at the end when students receive certificates & belts. Advanced level students should expect a 90 minute belt test.

Krav Maga Level 2 Midterm A

For those in Level 2 wishing to be considered for testing, please plan on attending. This workshop is part 1 of 2. There are a large number of techniques to be covered in this level.
Level 2 consists of 2 midterms, Midterm A and Midterm B. Attendance in both midterms is required for testing consideration.
Even if you are not ready to test out of Level 2, you should attend this event for educatioal purposes. You may attend only one of the 2 midterms if dates interfere with your schedule, whether that be midterm A or midterm B. Please note that you will need to complete both midterms to be considered for testing.

4 oz MMA gloves
