Dominion Shareholders!
Take Action!
Vote Yes! on Item 4!

You or someone you know might own an interest in Dominion Energy.

Are you a teacher, social worker, or government employee in Virginia? If so then you're probably invested in Virginia's Retirement System that owns over 400,000 shares of Dominion Energy stock. Dominion dividend checks were reduced by a third, starting the last quarter of 2020, probably due to the massive loss from the Atlantic Coast Pipeline. Now Dominion is risking potentially billions of dollars from a contract for shipping capacity on the Mountain Valley Pipeline.

Today concerned shareholders in Dominion Energy released a memo in support of Item 4 on Dominion's Shareholder proxy. This is a proposal to require Dominion to be transparent and accountable for their lobbying efforts both at the federal and state levels.

Do you want to learn more and/or help spread the word about the concerned Dominion Shareholders? Vote YES on Item 4 campaign! Fiill out this simple form. It will only take a couple of minutes. Ceres has the full shareholder proposal that's listed as Item 4 on shareholders' proxy statements on Ceres website.

Included in the concerned shareholders memo supporting Item 4:

"Proponents believe Dominion’s trade associations’ activities are jeopardizing our Company’s reputation. The stories regarding fraudulent emails in South Carolina and fake support for the Atlantic Coast pipeline are inconsistent with Dominion’s core values, one of which is ethics - Dominion states on its “Values, Ethics & Compliance” webpage: “Ethical behavior matters, and our reputation depends on it.”

"The dark money connections to the U.S. capitol riot also highlight social welfare group risks to shareholders. The Rule of Law Defense Fund is a social welfare group that helped organize the protest before the riots and is an arm of the Republican Attorneys General Association (RAGA).

Dominion made $170,000 in contributions to RAGA from 2015 – 2020. “RAGA has been called a 'pay to play’ group and 'Corporate Attorneys General' because it offers corporations access to its members based on how much money they donate to the group.”

In an article highlighting the support Dominion received from RAGA and the US Department of Justice in its Atlantic Coast Pipeline appeal before the Supreme Court, the Rule of Law Defense Fund was described 'as operating as a de facto conduit for conservative dark money groups and anti-climate activities since its founding by RAGA in 2014.'

Shareholders have no way to know if Dominion also made direct contributions to the Rule of Law Defense Fund, because it is unclear whether Dominion is providing full disclosure of its contributions to social welfare groups."

I hope you will join me in helping to spread the word to Dominion shareholders and investors to Vote YES on Item 4!
