Our volunteers have been working hard to help control invasive and aggressive plant species that crowd out native plants. Our two scheduled Spring Weed-Out dates are Saturday May 18th and May 25th 9am to 12pm. Mark these dates in your calendar! Meet at the Blatz Pavilion. This is a chance to get some fresh air and exercise and do a service to your park. We will be focusing on removing Garlic Mustard by hand along the Milwaukee River. Meet us at the Pavilion at 9 or find us along the Parkway.
We need to care for our watershed and native plants are essential to to sustaining our shorelines. Come and help! Dress for the weather but wear long pants and sturdy shoes.
