Service-Saturdays in Lincoln Park
We need your support.
We have a full calendar of clean-ups and weed-outs scheduled for Lincoln Park in September and October. We hope you'll be able to join us. We've expanded the schedule becasue we are starting to get the attention of schools and service groups who are asking to join our efforts in improving the park. Please take a look at the schedule and mark your calendars to help out.
All the Saturday Service Events go from 9 am to Noon but join us for any amount of time you can. Note a change of location, Due to youth football crowds, we'll be meeting at 4950 N. Milwaukee River Parkway near picnic area 3.
Fall Cleanup - Saturday, September 21st
We will be doing a litter pick up in Lincoln Park on Saturday September 21st. Gloves, pickers, and bags will be provided. A fun all ages community service event for everyone. Rain or shine. Meet on the Parkway, picnic area 3 around 9 am.
Weed-outs for Everyone - FOUR Saturdays 9 to Noon
This year we are QUADRUPLING our efforts to control invasive weeds and bring back native wildflowers in the park. Lincoln Park Friends are proud to partner with Park People for equipment support and Milwaukee County Parks to identify high priority areas for this year's attack on invasive buckthorn.

Sunday Paddle in Lincoln Park
We will explore the beautiful and wild East Oxbow of Lincoln Park with its cattails, waterfowl and a beaver lodge. Explore a 50 acre pond with 3 channels and 4 islands on the Milwaukee River. The route is appropriate for canoes or kayaks. Meet us at the Lincoln Park canoe landing, 4950 N Milwaukee River Parkway.
