Brighton Campus Tailgating

Game Day Reminders!

With a home football game this Saturday, we wanted to remind you of some important information related to tailgating, especially on the Brighton campus. Tailgating is meant to be a fun and responsible experience and events of underage or excessive drinking put the future of tailgating at risk.

Things to know:

  • No underage drinking will be tolerated.
  • There will be underage drinking patrols who will actively check IDs on campus.
  • Large crowds will bring additional scrutiny regardless of age as noise and excessive drinking are discouraged.
  • Failure to comply may result in a friend/family loss of parking for the game and/or season.
  • Failure on any large scale or regular basis may also result in further restrictions and can affect the future of tailgating.
  • Students who are found to be in violation of university policies risk conduct sanctions.

In addition, please remember that the Mods are restricted to 21+ and any underage students found jumping the fence or in the Mods during the restricted times will face conduct follow-up and lose their ability to live in the Mods.

The BC Breakfast Club

October 23 at 10:30: Meet Outside Greycliff Hall

Off-campus students are encouraged to participate in the BC Breakfast Club, which meets every Sunday at 10:30am on home football game weekends.  Volunteers are given a Breakfast Club t-shirt, gloves, and a trash bag, and spend about an hour cleaning up the off-campus neighborhood.  Clean up is followed by a free and delicious meal at Eagle’s Deli, courtesy of the Office of Residential Life.  For more information or to register, email Sign up now for next weekend!
