Help Wanted: Laptop Orientation Workshops
We've had a great turnout at our laptop orientation sessions so far! If you are not familiar with them, here’s the gist: at the end of each orientation session and during Move-In Weekend, new students attend workshops where we walk them through getting their laptop ready to use at Clemson and introduce them to some of the technology that is available to them. This is a great opportunity that we, as CCIT, have to welcome incoming students, BUT, we need your help.
If you’ve never helped before and aren’t sure what the process looks like, that’s ok. We’ll have a couple of opportunities for you to learn the few basic things you’ll need to know. We also need people to help greet students as they come in and point them to the right room for their workshop. So, no prior technical knowledge required!
If you’d like to help, you can sign up here: http://goo.gl/forms/C6DEldjO92. You’ll be able to select the week(s) that you’re available on the sign up form. If you have any questions please feel free to email Greg Manz at gmanz@clemson.edu. After you sign up, we will send you some more information about the learning opportunities that we have coming up.
