Dear Brothers and Sisters,

This Sarurday at Vigil we will be joined by Fr. Nectarios Trevino, former rector of the Nativity of Christ parish under the Carpatho-Russian jurisdiction of the Ecumenical Patriarchate. After 16 years as a priest in that jurisdiction, Father left the EP because of its illegal actions in the Ukraine, and has been officially accepted into ROCOR by our ruling bishop, His Eminence Metropolitan Hilarion, and attached to St. John's. Father is a man of high moral integrity. A former Lt. Colonel in the U.S. Air Force, Fr. Nectarios is a graduate of Georgetown University Law Center (Juris Doctorate) and has honorably served his country's military. Fr. Nectarios is 65, married and has two adult sons.

Fr. Nectarios will be serving with us at St. John's for the foreseeable future. Please join my brothren clergy in welcoming him as he adjusts to the liturgical traditions of ROCOR.

In XC,
Fr. VIctor
