Ready for some fun? Join us for Prime Timers Friday, Dec. 2nd in the South Chapel from 4:30 to 7:00 pm. Bring your favorite dish for our potluck. There will be good food, fellowship, fun games, and laughter! Call Karen at the church office if you need a ride, (253e) 272-3286. See you there!

Although the holidays are often a time of joy and celebration, some of us may be experiencing loss and loneliness that can be felt during this season. Our Blue Christmas service will be a time where we can express our feelings of grief and struggle in the presence of our loving God. This will be a service of contemplation, prayer, and encouragement for our community. It will be the evening of Sunday December 18th at 7pm. If you have questions or would like to help out with this service, please contact Sarah Chickering: 206-351-1168, chicks@spu.edu.

If you are 55+, we want to invite you to celebrate the Christmas season at our Annual Friendship Luncheon on Monday, December 19, at noon. We want to encourage you to invite and possibly purchase a ticket for a friend(s) who may be experiencing loneliness and would love an afternoon of amazing food and community. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased in Fellowship Hall on Sundays after church or during the week in the church office (102 Tacoma Ave S). Deadline for purchasing tickets is Monday, Dec 12

We will be having a very brief congregational meeting immediately following the worship service THIS Sunday, November 27. This meeting is being called for the purpose of electing two additional deacons for the 2023-2025 term.

Our next Membership Exploration Class is on Sunday, Dec. 4, right after church. If you’re not a member, I’d like to invite you to consider attending. This is a great way for me to get to know you and for you to learn more about what it means to become part of the First Pres family. The class begins at noon with a light lunch and wraps up by 3:00pm. We may be able to arrange childcare, so please let us know if that would be helpful. I’ve enjoyed leading this class over the past years and hope you will be able to join us! RSVP to Karen Ackerson: (253) 272-3286. - Pastor Eric
