TOMORROW, the most beautiful music of the year at FPC is coming! The Chancel Choir and Orchestra will present our Christmas concert. This outreach event is a wonderful way to not only listen to great Christmas music but also participate by singing familiar carols with our choir and full chamber orchestra. This is a great opportunity to invite friends to church and perhaps take them out to dinner afterwards! There is a reception following in the sanctuary which will feature hot cider, cocoa, and Christmas cookies.
Although the holidays are often a time of joy and celebration, some of us may be experiencing loss and loneliness that can be felt during this season. Our Blue Christmas service will be a time where we can express our feelings of grief and struggle in the presence of our loving God. This will be a service of contemplation, prayer, and encouragement for our community. It will be THIS Sunday, December 18th at 7pm. If you have questions or would like to help out with this service, please contact Sarah Chickering: 206-351-1168, email@example.com.
Our Candlelight Christmas Eve service is being enhanced and will be even more beautiful this year! Join us for a very special children’s sermon, the singing of familiar carols with our Chancel Choir and Handbells, a meditation by Pastor Eric, and of course closing the worship service with the lighting of candles and singing, Silent Night. We’ll see you at 7:00 pm on Saturday, December 24th!
Join us in one of our January Bible Studies designed for Women, Men & Small Groups! We'll follow author Tara-Leigh Cobble as she breaks down the doctrine of the Trinity in the study "He's Where the Joy Is". This will be a pared-down, interactive study that includes videos and discussion time, but no homework. Understanding God's three-in-oneness and each of the Persons of God individually—Father, Son, and Spirit—will lead you to deeper intimacy with God and greater joy in knowing Him!
