Forward Forward
In conjunction with our Out ministry focus, I invite you to come enjoy some good coffee while hearing about opportunities for you to get more engaged with our Stadium Neighborhood. We will be talking about some ongoing projects such as FOR Tacoma and the Merrill Gardens Welcome Team. And we will be sharing some new opportunities that have been generated by a workshop I have been facilitating.

Join us at 9:10am in the South Building this Sunday.

Mission Trip Bake Sale!
Help support our youth mission trip to Gleanings for the Hungry by purchasing tasty goods from our bake sale after church. All proceeds will go directly to the students going on Gleanings.

If you can't make it to the Bake Sale, you can still donate to support our students!
We're looking for volunteers!
Last week we shared some areas where we're currently looking for volunteers. We've had about six people already sign up to help, but we'd love to get that number up to 25! Visit the link below to find out more about where you can help, as well as sign up for a specific volunteer area. We'll also have a volunteer table in the courtyard after church.
Join us for Kingdom Come, an evening of prayer and worship.

In line with “OUT”, part of our time will focus on praying for the needs of our community.

Wednesday, May 25 from 7-8pm in our beautiful Ferguson Chapel
If you are interested in learning more about FPC and what membership means, please come to our New Members Class on Sunday, June 5. Light lunch included. If you need childcare, please let us know in advance.

Neighborhood Gathering Q&A
Last year, three FPC families helped host gatherings in their neighborhoods. This summer, as part of our Out focus, we would love to see that number double to six!

We are hosting a Q&A on Sunday, June 5 at 9:15am in South Chapel.

These families will share about their experience and answer questions. We will talk about specific opportunities, tips, and available resources. If this challenge intrigues you, come!
Sue Mills, one of our missionaries, will be visiting with us this Sunday. Please greet her during our fellowship time!
Sue writes:

By God’s grace and with your help, I am entering my 30th year of service to college students with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship. In November 2021, I took a new role with InterVarsity, now working in the National Intercessory Prayer department. Our guiding mission is to help InterVarsity staff grow in their ability to lead intercessory prayer. We work to deploy clear and effective circles of prayer around campuses, staff, and programs. These intercessors form a broad prayer support network encompassing volunteers, alumni, and ministry partners. Our work is to create space through prayer for God to move in power. So far, most of my work has been helping staff form their own circle of dedicated intercessors and then training and deploying that intercessory prayer team to surround the campus mission with prayer. InterVarsity’s vision to reach every corner of every campus is a God-sized goal that might not be accomplished without an organized prayer strategy. My new role has me working with InterVarsity staff from all over the country. I spend my days helping folks enact a prayer strategy around their ministry, equipping their team to pray together, and encouraging staff to lean more heavily on Jesus and less on their own ideas and hard work.
Help Us Recognize Our Grads
It's that time of year when we honor and celebrate all of our high school and college graduates.
If you have someone in your life who is graduating this year, let us know! We want to celebrate them!
Send a picture and the name of your graduate to: by June 1st.

Deacon-Supported Ministries -  Our Deacons support many community services including Trinity Presbyterian Church. They are asking for volunteers to provide sandwiches and cookies to help feed the hungry on Fridays by 11am. Trinity partners with the FED program (Food, Equality, and Distribution) in Hilltop and currently serves about 30 lunches each week.

Missions - Sue Mills (InterVarsity in Arizona) visits colleges in several states. She asks for prayer to be able to develop a prayer culture in InterVarsity that makes room for God to move in His power.
