2. Follow up to our webinar on the Golem

We know that many of you enjoyed our webinar, “The Golem, Artificial Intelligence, and Purim.” We are guessing that you might want to continue to study and discuss the issues that were raised. Each of the three presenters–Larry Pinsker, Henry Morris, and Jeffrey Schein–has prepared a follow-up webinar that will probe more deeply the perspectives they introduced in the February 27th webinar.

For more information on these additional learning opportunities, including how to register for them, click here. The deadline to register for these sessions is March 25th.

3. Kaplan Center at Reconstructing Judaism Convention (Washington DC., March 23-27)

Eric Caplan, Jeffrey Schein and Mel Scult are each giving sessions at the upcoming RJ convention, B’Yachad: Reconstructing Judaism Together. Information about these sessions can be found in the flyer attached to this email.

The deadline to register to attend the convention in-person was March 14th. It is still possible, however, to register to attend the full convention virtually. For more information, click here. If you would just like to attend one or two convention sessions, contact Jacob Weinberg (JWeinberg@ReconstructingJudaism.org).

The Kaplan Center will also have a table in the Vendor’s area of Convention. At the risk of sounding cliché, we hope that you’ll stop by and say “hi.” We’ll be giving away newly-transcribed excerpts from Mel Scult’s extensive interviews with Mordecai Kaplan, printed copies of Jeffrey Schein’s Lifelong Spirituality and God Connection: A Kaplanesque Suite of Learning Resources, and other Kaplan-related goodies.

We look forward to seeing you in Washington!

Eric and Jeffrey
