In the month's GP News learn about the changes in childhood Immunisation that took effect on 1 January this year; SNHN is offering practices a free CAT Plus license and installation. This powerful practice tool has many benefits and will help to improve quality in practice; The Women's Health Ambulatory Care service moved over 12 months ago, do you know its new address?; A free program Go4Fun which helps treat children above a healthy weight range is now taking referrals for a February intake; In practice news, practices are now required to data log their vaccine fridges and provide the data to NSW Health; In medicine management, a medicines safety campaign by the local health district is encouraging GPs to review patient medications before and after hospital and encourage their patients to keep an up to date medications list; In the Care sector, the Government has launched Carer Gateway an online portal which provides information on services and other resources; In the area of IT, GPs interested in beta-testing an electronic Patient-Reported Health Management (ePROM) App are being called for; A March 9 workshop dealing with the subject of Childhood Sexual Abuse is being offered by Bravehearts.

In this month's Community News new Diabetes resources for older people living with Diabetes have been developed; A new Government funded Carer Support Initiative has been launched and Ryde Family Services are holding a 5-week Tuning into Kids Program for Parents this February. And Go4Fun is a kids free treatment program helping kids above a healthy weight and their families build self-esteem and encourage healthy eating and exercise.
