In the month’s GP News: The No Jab, No Pay legislation has passed, the new immunisation policy will take effect from 1 January 2016.  Still on Childhood immunisation advice around reporting to the ACIR for DTP containing vaccines is available and Pertussis notifications continue with the most recent advice about antibiotics and antenatal recommendations available. From Monday 21 December, the Aged Care Assessment Team (ACAT) will have a new referral number and there is also a reminder about After Hours Incentive payments and the need to register through the Department of Human Services for payment. In this month’s news we highlight a recent Government announcement that will see PHNs  commissioning mental health services from July 2016. Our Access to Allied Psychological Services (ATAPS) provides a December 2015 intake snapshot; A resource for parents, carers and health professionals about a service that can help vulnerable children and families is made available.
