In this month's GP News we provide an update on the Pertussis notifications for our region; there is now a new referral pathway for an Aged Care Assessment; In the area of in-home complex care service provision, private health insurers are onboard; A Hepatitis B prescriber course is on again this March; Research into the use of multiple medicine use links to frailty and decline in study cohorts; Practices can order immunisation resources through a new combined order form; Patients with asthma are offered a new support management tool; GP input into two new research projects is sought, the first looks at the mental health of Veterans and the second examines attitudes towards Anorexia Nervosa; In hospital news the Acute Assessment Unit is offering GP patients a referral pathway; And in practice news, a grant for an enhanced nurse clinic is available through APNA.
