Are you on the "Naughty List? If you have not sent us a water sample in the last 12 months, you are on Warren's "Naughty List" and you will be receiving a phone call from our office soon.
Interpreting your water sample test results is often misunderstood
, so please note the following TWO very important points:
, if your results are UNSATISFACTORY, your computer-generated report will tell you to add ONLY
enough water treatment to give you a minimum
But that is not enough water treatment to protect your boiler for the next 12 months!
Therefore, we recommend adding an ADDITIONAL one-half gallon - on top of what your computer-generated report tells you to add
So if your results indicate that you should "Add 4 Cups of Liquid Armor Water Treatment", then we recommend that you actually add 12 CUPS of Liquid Armor.
Here's a cheat sheet
: Remember that there are 4 cups in every quart. So 8 cups is 2 Quarts (or one-half gallon), 12 cups is 3 quarts, and there are 16 cups in a gallon of water treatment!
, if your results are SATISFACTORY, but your "Nitrite" or "N" reading is between 1200 and 1600, you do not have enough water treatment to protect your steel for the next 12 months!
We recommend that if you have a reading in this range, that you add an additional half-gallon of water treatment to your boiler
Remember, the GOAL is to help your boiler last for 40 years so you can get the MAX SAVINGS from your outdoor boiler! Take just a few minutes to properly treat your boiler water, and this will be an investment of time well worth the effort!
