Halloween Tips for the Time-Crunched

This month, my Juniors have been planning a Happy 155th Birthday Juliette Lowe / Halloween party for one of our local Brownie troops. It's a fun way to combine traditions new and old with meeting one of our bridging requirements.

Letting the girls take the lead is admittedly a challenge for this Pinterest-loving leader, but I am really excited about some of the ideas they came up with, including their own idea to have girls bring in boxes of birthday cake mix for the food pantry at the church that hosts us.

If you do need some seasonal inspiration, I'd love to share some of my favorite ideas for October:

There are also some free e-books on Amazon with lots of Halloween craft ideas

And, if you have scouts with food allergies, I'd like to share some tips on seasonal snack ideas that almost everyone can eat.

I'd love to hear your ideas for celebrating fall with your scouts! Please share them on our Facebook page or drop me an email at useresourceswisely@gmail.com.
