Opportunities to develop new skills may seem hard to come by at the moment which is why we're delighted to announce free training workshops for Cambridge students as well as seven paid internships. Read on for more opportunities as well as details of the University's Let's Talk Transport campaign which launches today!

The Sustainability Team
Gain accredited experience in environmental auditing

Sign up for your chance to gain FREE practical experience as well as a unique insight into sustainability here at Cambridge. All sessions take place remotely, no technical knowledge is needed and the training is approved by IEMA.

Paid summer internships

Interested in fighting the climate challenge, gaining real-world experience and adding to your CV? Cambridge Zero and the Sustainability Team have seven paid virtual summer internships. Find out more and apply online here.

Let's Talk Transport

Join the conversation about what's stopping us travelling more sustainably. Whether you have specific circumstances which don't fit with sustainable travel options or just don't feel confident on a bike, we want to hear what you have to say. Student voices matter!

Join the Carbon Optimiser competition 

Carbon Optimiser is a student-led project helping individuals reduce their carbon footprint. Register for the competition online and start tracking your daily carbon footprint. Collect points to lower your carbon footprint and be in with a chance of winning a £20 voucher.

Volunteer with Cambridge Carbon Map 

Cambridge Carbon Map is an environmental organisation aiming to promote decarbonisation across Cambridgeshire. Opportunities are open for a Front-End Developer volunteer as well as a WordPress Implementer volunteer. See their website for more info.

Passionate about biodiversity? Help protect and enhance the biodiversity on our doorstep by letting us know what wildlife you've been spotting across the University's estate.
